An amazing Bloodborne cosplay recreates Vicar Amelia, a bestial boss fought early in a player's journey through Yharnam. FromSoftware's action role-playing game abandoned the developer's typical fantasy settings, instead taking players to a gothic city infested with monsters. Fans have cosplayed as Yharnam's inhabitants, with a cosplay of Bloodborne bossLady Maria being one example, but Vicar Amelia is a particularly inhuman subject to recreate.
Bloodborne does belong to FromSoftware's «soulslike» genre, but the PlayStation-exclusive titleputs its own original spin on the action role-playing game formula. The city of Yharnam has a uniquely gothic aesthetic, and its streets are filled with terrifying foes like werewolves, angry mobs and brutal preachers. The title also puts a more aggressive spin on soulslike combat, making players much faster than previous installments and allowing them to regain health through fast counterattacks. The game also gradually transitions into cosmic horror, allowing gamers to unravel a progressively more unsettling experience. The beloved world of Yharnamhas inspired many fan tributes, like a Bloodborne Hunter cosplay set that comes complete with a working Saw Cleaver that can transform between two forms.
