Marvel Comics has continued to reveal some of the upcoming high-fashion looks to be worn at the X-Men's Hellfire Gala, and Black Widow's new costume gives the hero a much darker ensemble than usual. Russell Dauterman's design for Black Widow's Hellfire Gala costume gives the longtime Avenger a radical new look that offers something much more sleek and bold than what she usually wears.
In the pages of Marvel Comics, Black Widow usually wears either her one-piece leather ensemble, or her more tactical look that's been adapted in live-action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Natasha Romanoff didn't always have such a striking costume, as the hero's original look was extremely silly. Her 1960s costume was a blue fishnet leotard with an oversized eye mask, as well as a cape. The costume was definitely of its time, as the hero would later get a look that more closely resembles the outfit she currently wears. Now, Black Widow is getting a new costume for X-Men's Hellfire Gala which is like nothing she's ever worn before.

Black Widow's Hellfire Gala costume by artist Russell Dauterman was recently revealed by Marvel Comics, which gives the hero a much darker look than usual. Black Widow wears a black bodysuit, which her iconic red logo across the entire front of her torso. Meanwhile, she wears a gorgeous red fabric mask that is sheer with lace throughout (with the same element being implemented on her logo).
