Black Desert Online has opened up its permanent season servers, letting everyone join and graduate their characters when they’re ready. The latest update also added additional season related content, including new materials, and gifts, alongside fixes, and helpful tweaks.
Before this most recent patch, every time Black Desert Online started up a new season, the team would give players a chance to graduate their characters from the previous season onto the live servers with a gift to help them on their permanent journey. These new servers will now be permanent season servers, where anyone can jump in with the special bonuses, get a good head start and then pick when they want to graduate that character to the live servers. While there used to be a time limit for this, everything–from start to finish–is now in the player's hands.
Things like the season character leveling challenges from levels 50-60, region quests, and season graduation quests get some tweaks. To make the change season server possible, there are additional rewards, a list of quests to help players progress their characters, and the number of other features, like season exclusive enhancement materials.
Pearl Abyss has also updated on the Great Ocean, announcing a few workarounds that changes the bartering process and reduced crafting time for the Sunset Black stone. This joins the barter-related quests from Oquilla's Eye being moved to to Iliya Island. The team will continue making changes to both restore simple passage by sailing, after previous changes made sailing difficult to impossible.
The patch adds a number of improvements to exploration quests, fixes to sea monsters to stop them from teleporting around to different locations during combat,
