Warning! Spoilers ahead for Black Clover chapter 327!
Asta's sudden burst of strength in Black Clover has proven to be powerful enough to defeat Lucifero the King of Devils, but he only has five seconds to use it.

And their thoughts fully synchronized when Liebe's memories of Lucita, Asta's adopted mother, entered Asta's mind the moment Lucifero was about to deliver the finishing blow against them. This connection allowed Asta to feel Liebe's regret that he would never be able to avenge Lucita's death at the hands of Lucifero or to do the last thing Lucita wished for him before her death: to go on living. Asta experiencing these feelings allowed them to enter a devil union so powerful that they could not only block Lucifero's finishing blow but counter with a punch strong enough to send the King of Devils flying, in chapter 327.
