It looks like the Starfield showcase is still some time away, as Bethesda's community manager has said that the team is "still sorting stuff out for it" on the game's official Discord server.
Last month, Xbox held its first-ever Developer_Direct showcase, giving us a more detailed look at Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, Hi-Fi Rush, and a new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online. The one game that wasn't there that everyone hoped to see was Starfield, although Microsoft confirmed that's because it's getting its own showcase in the near future.

Since announcing that, Microsoft hasn't mentioned anything more about the Starfield showcase. Although many hoped the showcase would be sometime this month, it seems that we might be waiting for a while longer, as Bethesda's community manager Robert O'Neill has revealed that the team still has some work to do before the showcase is released.
As reported by Pure Xbox, Robert O'Neill, who goes by VaultOfDaedalus on the Bethesda Discord, shared a brief message yesterday on the Starfield showcase after getting requests for information. O'Neill's update didn't give too much away, but it did signal that it's still a little way off and likely not happening this month.
O'Neill said, "We'll have more info to share on the showcase when it's ready to be, still sorting stuff out for it. I know that's not the answer you want, but nothing specific is being withheld".
Although O'Neill's message doesn't give us much idea when to expect the showcase, we do know that Microsoft is planning on hosting an event in L.A. this Summer, which means that a Starfield presentation would very likely be
