Below Deck Down Under: Captain Jason Chamber’s Best IG Pictures

At the helm of My Thalassa is Captain Jason, who became one of the youngest leaders in the Below Deck franchise. Despite his young age, he has proven his leadership skills as he dealt with insubordination and unmotivated crew during his debut season. For the first time in Below Deck history, Captain Jason fired both Chef Ryan McKeown and third stew Magda Ziomek at the same time for failing to step up in their roles.

One of Captain Jason’s favorite things to do in Below Deck Down Under is take the guests on underwater excursions around the Great Barrier Reef. Captain Jason, who is a certified scuba diver, also makes sure that his crew gets to experience the wonders of the sea along with him and the guests. Chief stew Aesha Scott also had her diving certification and was ecstatic when the captain invited her along during an outing.

In a recent Below Deck Down Under episode, Captain Jason took his charter guests snorkeling in Manta Ray Bay, Hook Island. They were able to see beautiful coral reefs and swim right next to colorful parrotfish.
