A player recently launched a Change.org petition to push for Battlefield 2042 refunds on all platforms; as of writing, the petition has hit over 30,000 signatures, with no signs of slowing down. Things were so dour early on, in fact, that the newest Battlefield entry landed a spot on Steam's all-time worst reviewed games list, a feat not expected of the historically beloved first-person shooter franchise. It could take some time before things drastically improve across the board, evidenced by DICE's decision to delay Battlefield 2042 Season 1 in an effort to focus on tackling game fixes.
