Assassin's Creed Valhalla hits $1bn in revenue

That's according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot — as reported by Axios — who told investors following its latest financial results that the title is the first in the franchise to hit this milestone. This, the exec says, is due to the title having a longer play time, as well as a wealth of post-launch content.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla was released in 2020 and shortly became Ubisoft's second most-profitable game ever. The title saw double the sales of Assassin's Creed Odyssey on its first day in the wild and was apparently Ubisoft's biggest ever launch on PC.
Post-launch content continues to come out, too, such as the upcoming Dawn of Ragnarok DLC which is set to launch in March.
