The teaser trailer highlights Batman Ninja’s return as he finds himself in a world unlike any other, where members of the Justice League, including The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman, will be known as the Yakuza League. The title also seemingly confirms that the titular Dark Knight will probably go up against the powerful members of Yakuza League.
Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is co-directed by Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takaji from a screenplay written by Kazuki Nakashima. The film will feature the voice of Koichi Yamadera, who also voiced Bruce Wayne/ Batman in the 2018 anime move Batman Ninja. The creative team also includes character designer Takashi Okazaki, with Kamikaze Douga handling the animation production. It also features music by Yugo Kanno.
“The first trailer contains only tiny fragments of Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League and full 90 minutes is filled with even more crazy sequences!!,” Nakashima said in a statement. “The content is so intense that it might make your head spin, so please enjoy that dizzying sensation. It’s another crazy film you will enjoy.”
