Batgirl’s Leslie Grace has opened up about what it was like to have Michael Keaton walk on set to reprise his role as Batman. Grace, who is set to star as Barbara Gordon in the upcoming DCEU film, made the leap from music to film in last year’s film adaptation of In the Heights. In July last year, it was also announced that she would be taking the titular role in the DC film set to stream on HBO Max.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, using a screenplay penned by Birds of Prey andThe Flash’s Christina Hodson, the film will also see the return of J.K. Simmons who will reprise his DCEU role of Commissioner Jim Gordon. In December last year, Keaton’s return as Batman was also confirmed, seemingly solidifying rumors that his version of the Dark Knight would continue to be the DCEU’s Batman following his reintroduction in 2023's The Flash with Ezra Miller. Previous Batgirl set photos have also hinted at the existence of a Robin, who at one point protected Gotham alongside Keaton’s Bruce Wayne.
