A fan poster for the upcoming film Avengers: Secret Wars recreates one of the original comic book covers featuring Spider-Man bonding with the Venom symbiote. Avengers: Secret Wars was announced as part of Marvel's earth-shaking presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. It is currently unknown how the film will choose to adapt the storyline of the comics, which involves a villain known as the Beyonder transporting heroes and villains to a planet called Battleworld and forcing them to fight one another. This will likely be substantially changed onscreen, considering the fact that this version of Secret Wars will most likely feature Jonathan Majors' character Kang in lieu of the Beyonder. Kang was featured as part of the original group of villains, however, so there is precedent for the character appearing in Secret Wars.
