New trademarks filed by Disney may have revealed the Avengers 5 title and confirmed speculation of a Secret Wars adaption. Throughout the 14 years of Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, the Avengers movies have remained the biggest draw for Marvel Studios. Each of the four previously released films made more than $1 billion worldwide, with Avengers: Endgame becoming the highest-grossing movie of all time at one point. However, in the three years since Marvel Studios released Endgame in theaters, there have not been any official announcements about when Avengers 5 will come or what it will be about.
While there have been over a dozen MCU Phase 4 projects released, there is still a lot of focus on what Avengers 5 could be about. The continued exploration of the multiverse has mostly convinced audiences that it will be a major aspect of the next Avengers mission, especially after Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) debuted in Loki. Much of the speculation has turned to the possibility of Marvel Studios adapting the Secret Wars comic event. The original 1980 crossover from Jim Shooter is a seminal event in the comics, while Jonathan Hickman put his own spin on the multiverse story in 2015.

Now, some new filings from Walt Disney Studios with the European Union Intellectual Property Office have potentially revealed Avengers 5's title. As shared on Reddit, the Mitscherlich attorney's office that has previously worked with Disney on various productions filed trademarks for Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
