A Pokemon fan with excellent artistic skills has recently created a collection of weapons inspired by different Pokemon. The Pokemon community is well-known for the high quality of its fan art, and while works such as turning Pokemon into weapons are somewhat rare, they’re just as interesting as more popular expressions such as Paradox forms and regional variants.
The first Pokemon games appeared in 1996, and the franchise has seen massive success since then. With over 120 games released so far, Pokemon is one of the largest gaming franchises. The brand is widely successful even outside of gaming, though, due to having an official TV show, a trading card game, a collection of apparel, plushes, and much more. Recently, Pokemon Legends Z-A has been announced for the Switch as the sequel to the critically acclaimed Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and the upcoming title will probably be successful, likely spawning even more fan art.
Now, a prolific Pokemon fan artist named KosukeSukeP has shared their latest artwork: an amazing collection of Pokemon-inspired weapons. KosukeSukeP’s collection features 22 weapons inspired by different creatures, including Nincada, Shedinja, Treecko, Grovyle, Dunskull, Dusknoir, Celebi, Sneasel, Hisui, Gengar, Reshiram, and others. The weapon types include scythes, sickles, katanas, daggers, swords, hammers, claws, fans, and even glaives. Some of the most cool-looking weapons devised by KosukeSukeP include a greatsword inspired by Dusknoir, which uses the colors and shapes of the Pokemon to create a gigantic blade, and a Haunter-inspired scythe, which has the face of the Ghost-type creature on its edge.
This is not the first time that KosukeSukeP has created a collection of Pokemon-inspired weapons. Last month, the fan shared a batch of fan-made weapons such as a Lunatone staff, a Solrock rapier, a Xatu Spear, an Onix Hammer, a Greavard Sword, and others.
KosukeSukeP has been devising these stylish weapons inspired by Pokemon since at least 2023.
