The upcoming Arrowverse series Justice U could be a Superman and Lois spinoff, with Jordan Kent following in his father's footsteps as Superman. The storyline of Superman and Lois season 2 has seen Jordan's power levels increase along with his confidence to the point that he asked his grandfather for help in training to become a superhero. This, coupled with the failure of the Supermen of America team chronicled in Superman and Lois, could lead to the events described in the Justice U pilot synopsis, with ARGUS agent John Diggle taking command of a group of young heroes.
The question of what young heroes might make up John Diggle's squad in Justice U had fueled speculation among many Arrowverse fans since the series was first announced. Certainly there's no shortage of young heroes in need of a mentor in the Arrowverse, and Justice U could offer a home to those heroes like Painkiller and the new Green Arrow, Mia Queen, whose backdoor pilots weren't picked up as series by the CW. Justice U also seems poised to resolve the ongoing storyline teased by the Arrow finale that suggested John Diggle will become a Green Lantern.

While Jordan Kent is a bit young for the college-age team implied by the Justice U title, he could find a second family among such a collective. It also helps matters that John Diggle, based on his cameo appearance in Superman and Lois season 1, seems to be one of the few military men Clark Kent might trust to oversee his son's training as part of a larger team.
