Superman & Lois season 2 director Amy Jo Johnson says filming the show's upcoming episode 6 was like working on a feature film. As a Supergirl/Arrowverse spin-off, Superman & Lois follows its eponymous pair (Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch) after relocating to Clark’s hometown of Smallville with their teenage sons. The cast also includes Jordan Elsass, Alexander Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Adam Rayner, Dylan Walsh, and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
Season 1 saw the arrival of John Henry Irons/Steel (Wolé Parks) from an alternate universe and the introduction of Morgan Edge as Kal-El’s Kryptonian half-brother, Tal-Rho. At the end of the season, John and (alt) Lois’ teenage daughter, Natalie (Taylor Buck), arrived from her universe. Season 2 has seen the return of Supergirl’s Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan) alongside newcomer Ian Bohen, who plays Lt. Mitch Anderson at the Department of Defense. On top of all that, Superman is now dealing with the Bizarro version of himself, while Lois Lane faces Ally Allston (Rya Kihlstedt), a self-help guru/cult leader who brainwashed her sister.
