Apex Legends' new Imperial Guard Collection Event launched today, introducing a new series of 24 new premium cosmetic items with a Japanese theme. Oni masks, cherry blossom motifs, and other homages to traditional Japanese culture are featured heavily in the collection's items--just in time for the annual Japanese Cherry Blossom festival, which starts on March 20 this year.

Unfortunately, at the time of publication, it appears that both Event Packs are missing from the free reward track for some players. If this applies to you, be sure to follow Respawn's advice and update your game a second time before progressing through the free reward track to ensure you get your free
