Activision announced that the 4v4 multiplayer game Crash Team Rumble will launch on June 20 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It will feature cross-platform play.
First reported by VGC, there will be a closed beta for the game from April 20-24 for those who preorder the game and will feature five characters, which are Crash, Coco Tawna, Neo Cortex, and Dingodile. Three maps will be included in the beta as well. The full roster in the final game splits characters into three roles, which are Blocker, Booster, and Scorer.
The objective of each match is for players to gather as many Wumpa fruit in their own drop-off area while also preventing the opposing team from doing the same. Each character has a unique Relic Power, which can help turn the tide of battle.
The game's Standard Edition costs $30 and the Deluxe Edition is $40. The former also includes a Premium Battle Pass for Season 1, while the latter includes a Season 2 Battle Pass, a 25-tier instant unlock for Season 1, and a Digital Prop Pack that provides skins and equipable items.
Crash Team Rumble was first announced at The Game Awards 2022.
