Another Code: Recollection is the new Switch remake of the Nintendo-published DS and Wii cult-classic story-driven adventure games Another Code: Two Memories (known as Trace Memory in North America) and Another Code: R – A Journey into Lost Memories. Beyond the expected visual updates, Another Code: Recollection also completely remixes the games’ puzzles, meaning even those familiar with the originals will find themselves on new ground.

After making your way through Lawrence’s Hidden Room and into the underground lab, you’ll come upon a room that contains somebody claiming to be your dad. Hmmm! But to get them out, you’ll have to unlock the door, which will require you to collect several key items and solve a bit of a puzzle. But don’t worry, we’ve got the solution for you…
- Step 1 – First things first, examine the desk in the lab, specifically the mug. This will net you a screwdriver.
- Step 2 – Examine the door lock mechanism, and use the screwdriver to open the casing and expose the circuitry. Inside, you’ll find an Orange Security Key.
- Step 3 – You’ll need to find two more Security Keys. The green one is underneath the chalkboard eraser.
- Step 4 – The Red Security Key is in the cabinet behind the red file folder.
- Step 5 – Okay, now to solve the puzzle. The idea is to connect the three paths, orange, green, and blue, creating a line from the left side, all the way to the right side. You can place the Security Keys in ports on the top and bottom of the board, which will give you different configurations of pathways, which you can then rotate to try to create continuous lines. With enough trial and error you’ll get the solution, or you can save yourself some time and just check out the image below.
