An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has finally put Jolly Redd where he belongs: in a prison cell. Jolly Redd is a sly-looking fox that has appeared in the Animal Crossing franchise, most recently appearing in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.2 update. In New Horizons, Redd and his beat-up boat named the Treasure Trawler dock on the player's island if they sell enough pieces to Blathers' museum.
With the arrival of Jolly Redd, players are able to purchase works of art from the fox and donate them to Blathers' museum. Players that want to fully stock the museum will welcome Redd and his Treasure Trawler, as Redd will sell the player familiar famous works of art. Blathers is difficult to please, though, as he only accepts genuine pieces of artwork. Unfortunately for the player, Jolly Redd is not as trustworthy as he seems because he is known to sell several fake pieces of art in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Thankfully, the forgeries that Redd sells always have some kind of fairly obvious tell, so players with discerning eyes can spot the real from the fake before committing to purchasing one.
