Recently, a fan of the life sim shared one of the custom areas they made on their island, seemingly putting their design skills to the test by using the industrial factory setting as a theme.
Right after Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched in 2020, the game immediately offered a lot of options when it came to island design and customization. Players have a say on the initial layout and scheme of their island, and can even place villagers in their chosen spots. Other features that players could play around with after the initial launch included terraforming and custom designs.
