Despite first premiering nearly two decades ago, the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom is arguably stronger than it ever has before. The extremely popular animated series originally ended its run in 2008, with the show gaining an increasingly passionate fanbase over the past decade. This passion can easily be conveyed through one fan's rendering of what one of the series' iconic locations could look like in Unreal Engine 5.
The immensely popular anime-inspired franchise set in a world where people can control the elements is going through somewhat of a rebirth, with several planned upcoming projects for the ATLA universe. Last year saw the formation of Avatar Studios, which will reportedly helm at least three new animated films, in addition to a slew of other projects. There are also reports of new video games set within Avatar: The Last Airbender's universe, which may want to take notes and/or hire the creator of the footage below.

The location is an important one within the original series' story, where Team Avatar seeks refuge after failing to invade the Fire Nation, and where Prince Zuko finally convinces Aang and the others to let him join them. The video shows the Western Air Temple's signature inverted towers, affixed to the overhang of a craggy cliffside. Relaxing music and wind noises create a calm, serene scene, with realistic textures and physics helping to convey the majestic vastness of it all.
