Two Point Campus has now been available for just over three weeks. The follow-up business sim game from Two Point Studios, developer of Two Point Hospital, allows players to create their own college campuses teaching everything from cooking to magic. Two Point Studios expanded on a lot of the ideas of Two Point Hospital for Two Point Campus, even if it didn't reinvent the wheel to do so. Sega has now confirmed that the team's efforts have been rewarded, with Two Point Campus crossing an impressive player milestone.
The Two Point Campus publisher confirmed that the business sim has crossed an impressive threshold of total players. Two Point Campus hit over a million players during its first two weeks of availability. That's a very impressive number for any game, though Two Point Studios deserves a lot of credit for making sure its game is available across all major platforms so as many players as possible have access to Two Point Campus.
Xbox Game Pass Adds New Day One Game
One big point that Sega calls attention to is how this number compares to the initial success of Two Point Hospital. While no specific numbers are shared, Sega does confirm that Two Point Campus reached this threshold faster than Two Point Hospital did.Two Point Hospital was a virally successful release but did rely on word of mouth at first, which gave it a slower buildup. Now Two Point Campus has to reach Two Point Hospital's total player count.
Two Point Campus has had one big advantage for its launch. Two Point Campus was a Day One release for Xbox Game Pass across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
