Reddit user Ikyboi101 recently posted a brief clip of their 3D printed model of an item leaf from Animal Crossing: New Horizons as it opens up to reveal slots to insert Nintendo Switch games into like many other cases. The item leaf has been a memorable logo from the Animal Crossing titles since the very first one released, and they have appeared in each of the games along the way. Unlike the tools, accessories, crafting items, and clothing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons which have their own inventory indicators, the many furniture sets are represented by the item leaf which may be what inspired this creation.

Ikyboi101's clip starts with the Nintendo Switch leaf game case being picked up and opened to show how easily the two 3D printed pieces come apart to provide access to the cartridges inside. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons-inspired leaf can contain up to ten Nintendo Switch games, as well as three MicroSD cards that are capable of holding their own downloaded games. The item leaf is slowly spun around to show that it doesn't come apart unintentionally thanks to a few magnets, which highlights the glossy finish to the case made of green filament.
