The hit indie social deduction multiplayer game Among Us has announced its plans for 2022. Innersloth has continued to update Among Us since its big boom in 2020, and the developers hope to keep their player base high with more new content.
Developer Innersloth has prepared a timetable for its new features this year: Friend list updates and quality of life changes will be coming out soon, while more roles, cosmicubes, a hide and seek mode, and a new collaboration will be coming in the future. Innersloth also teased more features that it will announce at a later date. A new map has not yet been announced, meaning that the most recent map is still The Airship, which is based off Innersloth's other title Henry Stickmin.

Among Us reached its peak popularity in the second half of 2020 when famous Twitch streamers like Pokimane started playing Among Us for their viewers to watch. The way the game is played makes it unique in gaming by relying on its own players' personalities and the players' trust in each other. Innersloth has been hard at work developing new content for Among Us after scrapping plans for the sequel in late 2020.
