Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed yet again, this time to June 6. This comes by way of a short, two-minute video from Frictional Games Creative Lead Fredrik Olsson, who explained the delay is to address crashes.
«We're going through the certification process,» Olsson said, «and we've encountered multiple rare crashes that are very difficult to identify, reproduce, and thereby also fix, and we simply can't make it in time.»

Olsson then explained that the studio could have asked its employees to work weekends or nights to speed up the development process. «That's simply not something we do here at Frictional,» Olsson said. During the short video, Olsson also noted that everything is coming together nicely and that the team is excited to finally ship the game.
Despite the bad news about the delay, Amnesia: The Bunker will get a free Steam demo on May 22. It's unclear if other platforms will also get a demo, as only a Steam version was announced.
Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed multiple times. It was initially supposed to launch in March 2023, but was pushed to May, and now June.
Amnesia: The Bunker is gearing up to launch for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
