AMD To Introduce Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700 & RX 7600 “RDNA 3” GPUs At Competitive Prices But Consumers Might Have To Wait A Bit
AMD launched its high-end Radeon RX 7900 "RDNA 3" GPUs last year but so far, there haven't been any mainstream releases yet. Of course, this does not count the company's contribution to the newer generation's laptop series, such as the Radeon RX 7700S, 7600S, and Radeon RX 7600M GPUs.
NVIDIA hit the market firm when it released its newest graphics cards for 2023. The company has launched several desktop variations, the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 Ti, as well as upcoming launches of the GeForce RTX 4070 & RTX 4060 series. This has not come without issues for the company. However, gamers weren't that responsive to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti GPUs due to their non-competitive price points and a marked increase over their RTX 30 predecessors.
AMD witnessed a vapor chamber issue for the company's Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards that watched performance drop while temperatures rose, which did not help its sales shortly after their launch.
AMD has had no other desktop graphics cards for users, and the company has responded in a recent statement about the missing desktop GPUs. The company is stating that the remaining graphics cards that have not been released will most likely be delayed a bit. The company may be waiting for the Chinese 618 Shopping Festival, which could be risky as the newest generation of graphics cards would continue to be missing from the marketplace. Or, this could give AMD the time to improve its latest architecture and come out strong in the middle of 2023.
According to MyDrivers, AMD plans of launching the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700 & RX 7600 "RDNA 3" GPUs next which would be very competitive and cost-effective against NVIDIA's RTX 40 mainstream lineup.
