Amazon Luna rolled out to UK, Germany and Canada
Retail giant Amazon has released its Luna games streaming service in three key markets.
The tech is now available in the UK, Germany and Canada, with a UK subscription to the Luna+ tier costing users £8.99 per month. Players can also access Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games subscriptions for £14.99 and £3.99 respectively.
Users can play games with an official Luna controller, as well as a DualShock and Xbox gamepads. You can even employ keyboard and mouse. Luna works via Amazon's FireTV sticks as well as Kindle Fire tablets.
"With Amazon Luna, we're making gaming easier and more convenient by offering instant access to console-quality games on devices customers already own," said Eric Saarnio, vice president of Amazon Devices International.
"Gamers in the US have been enjoying Luna for the past year so we're thrilled to now expand the service to customers in Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom."
Amazon revealed its Luna service back in September 2020. This rollout comes hot on the heels of Google axing its own Stadia streaming platform.
Luna initially released in the US back in March 2022.
