Some newly released concept art from Spider-Man: No Way Home has revealed a look at alternate costume designs for Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. The MCU sequel has been a box-office sensation since its release in December and celebrated by audiences worldwide as a must-see movie for Spider-Man fans. Jon Watts’ third outing for the web-slinger sees Tom Holland’s Peter Parker face his biggest challenge to date, trying to clear his name following the climactic events of 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. When he uses Doctor Strange’s magic to try and reset his reality, Peter ends up opening up the entire multiverse and coming face to face with some of the greatest Spider-Man foes from across the various universes.
As well as taking place within the MCU, the blockbuster also celebrates the previous Spider-Man movies of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, with several iconic actors reprising their roles as villains. Two of the most iconic returning foes in the movie are Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, both of whom appear almost un-aged nearly two decades after their original appearances. In the finished film, Doc Ock sports a similar outfit to that seen in Spider-Man 2, maintaining his off-green trench coat, though this time covering up slightly with a black turtle neck. Dafoe’s Goblin gets several looks throughout Spider-Man: No Way Home, donning both his original armor from 2002’s Spider-Man and a new homemade design with his comic-accurate purple and green, hooded look.
