Knightfall, the next big patch for Albion Online , gets its own dev talk and blog. Meanwhile, May sees the return of the the Morgana challenge.
The monthly challenge has refreshed for May, bringing backthe Morgana challenge. By earning enough points, you'll be able to unlock the Morgana Raven flying mount (with its AoE Fear spell), an avatar ring, and chests.
As for Knightfall, it willl include new features added to The Mists and update the Roads of Avalon. In addition to all of this, there will be new items, and some helpful changes. Sandbox Interactive worked on the patch during the launch of Albion East (which pushed the game to a new active users record).
Knightfall is designed to expand upon content added in Beyond the Veil, and to overhaul a few things in response to experience and community feedback.
The Mists will get three new features. Caches are a new treasure chest type that will give every player rewards for completing objectives. Coffers will function like open-world treasures, but you’ll have to be nearby to notice their locations. Finally, Knightfall Abbey is a dungeon coming to the Mists. This new dungeon type will be getting its own dev talk, so for now, consider this announcement a teaser.
The Roads of Avalon are getting some additions, as well as some overhauls and adjustments. Elite Camps will be rebalanced for groups of 5-7. This will apply to both difficulty and rewards, (since they are related,of course). The team will also add more off-road paths, and these will come with more roaming mobs. Avalonian Mages and Archers will have new upgrade levels.
