Action adventure game The Redundant revealed by 7Gizmo
thesixthaxis.comDeveloper 7Gizmo has announced a brand new action adventure game, and it is title The Redundant. In The Redundant, players assume the role of a robot called CF5. CF5 is scheduled to be made obsolete, and because of that reason alone does not become infected by a virus when all of the other robots in the facility do, leading them to become deadly. In The Redundant players will be able to choose between facing threats head on, or going for a more stealth like approach.
“We were inspired to create a game that combined exciting action with a story that tugs at the heartstrings,” says 7Gizmo. “CF5 might be a bit outdated, but he’s full of surprises and his determination to save the day is truly inspiring. The Redundant is the showpiece game from our studio, a story-driven experience that implements dynamic mechanics to create unique experiences. It’s been a labor of love for us and we can’t wait for players to experience the heartwarming story and exciting gameplay firsthand.”
In The Redundant, players will have access to various upgrades to face off against the rampaging robots, as well as tools like an energy drainer and bombs. Alongside the shooting and sneaking, the levels will have some puzzles to deal with too. The Redundant is set to be released in November for PC via Steam, and a demo is expected during October’s NextFest.
