Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2's Arsenal Trailer Showcases the Game's Weapons
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive recently dropped a new teaser trailer for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 that gives us a peek at the various weapons players will be able to bring to bear against the Tyranid threat.
As far as weapons go, the teaser showed off the heavy bolter, Astartes chainsword, plasma incinerator, auto bolt rifle, and a number of other bolter variants. We also see the player wielding a melta rifle heavy weapon at one point.
The Space Marine’s jump pack can also be used as a weapon by dealing area of effect damage on landing or straight up crushing Tyranids underfoot by directly landing on them.
Space Marine 2 will also allow players to kill a dude with another dude via gnarly executions using an enemy’s own body parts as weapons.
Despite the focus of the trailer, there are other weapons that will appear in the game that we’ve seen previously, such as power swords, thunder hammers, and lots more.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 arrives on September 9 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players who pre-purchase the Gold or Ultra Editions of the game will be able to play four days earlier, beginning on September 5.
