A brand new photo from Sony Pictures’ highly-anticipated animated sequel has been released (via Empire). The image gives fans a glimpse of Spider-Man 2099’s fight against a medieval version of the famous Spider-Man villain Vulture, who will be voiced by vet Jorma Taccone.
The film will be arriving in theaters this coming June 2, pitting it against the upcoming horror thriller, based on Stephen King’s short story. It is also set to make its debut in the same month as other high-profile projects like,, and .

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. It stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, Karan Soni, Oscar Isaac, and more.
