Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduced a bunch of new stuff with the Indigo Disk DLC, including the ability to fly with Miraidon/Koraidon, new Pokemon such as Hydrapple and Terapagos, and a rival that we all love to hate in Kieran. However, the most popular addition to the game has to be the Synchro Machine, something that lets you control your favorite Pokemon and run around Blueberry Academy and the surrounding area with them.
Literally any Pokemon that you own can be controlled, and it was only a matter of time before someone used this new mechanic for something really cool. Enter Reddit user SauceMcGavin, who has used Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Synchro Machine to its fullest by recreating the intro of one of Pokemon's best games.
Pokemon Silver is a game that most of you can probably remember playing while growing up, and it features a pretty distinct intro that set the tone of the game quite well. It's this intro that SauceMcGavin has managed to recreate, taking all the Pokemon that feature and controlling them via Scarlet & Violet's Synchro Machine. You can check out the video below, which begins with a group of Shellder just chilling at the bottom of the ocean.
Just like the original intro, it then pans up to a bunch of Magikarp swimming by, before finally venturing to the surface of the water to see a passing Lapras. It then cuts to a Jigglypuff singing, with a Pikachu coming by to usher it off the screen, before cutting to Johto's three starters and a very angry Charizard. SauceMcGavin has even used a filter to give the Charizard the same monochrome texture it does in Pokemon Silver's intro.
Finally, the rest of the video shows us a Lugia swimming underneath the ocean from right to left with the Pokemon Silver logo
