A New Fallout RPG Is Coming, But It's Not What You Expect

The Fallout franchise is experiencing an unexpected surge in popularity thanks to the TV series, which explores the origins of the infamous Vault-Tec while also showcasing a unique post-apocalyptic world. The game will procedurally generate a story for solo players without a new GM, allowing them to explore the wasteland after they emerge from a Vault-Tec vault. Players will also be able to play as other kinds of characters, including survivors, ghouls, super mutants, and robots. The game will use Modiphius's 2D20 system and will be released in 2026.

Outside the video games, Modiphius's is one of the best ways to experience the franchise. New books are planned to explore New California and the Mojave, the Capital Wasteland, the Commonwealth, and the Appalachian Wasteland. No release dates were provided for any of these new books, but it seems like the plan is to continue growing the line for the foreseeable future.
