Capcom has shown off more gameplay footage of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
The first trailer for the game was shown last month, but it only featured small clips of gameplay. This new footage shows the gameplay in more detail, and focuses on the ability to play alongside Pawns, AI companions that make the single-player game feel more like a co-op experience.
The footage starts at 1:04:42 in the following video:

The game’s world will be roughly four times the size of that in the original game, director Hideaki Itsuno confirmed.
Announced last year during a live stream celebrating the original game’s 10th anniversary, director Hideaki Itsuno said: “Everyone in the development team is hard at work creating a game that we hope you will enjoy! Please look forward to it!”
Last month, Capcom shared hints about the Dragon’s Dogma plot on the PlayStation Blog.
“Dragon’s Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG that challenges players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more,” it wrote.
“On your journey, you’ll be joined by Pawns, mysterious otherworldly beings, in an adventure so unique you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure.
“All of these elements are elevated further by the latest in graphics, artificial intelligence (AI) and physics technology to create a truly immersive fantasy world in Dragon’s Dogma 2.”
Dragon’s Dogma will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam.
