Former pastor Ben with his reputation of dating younger women, fell for Mahogany’s highly filtered photos after she sent him a friend request. The 52-year-old began to picture a future together with Mahogany, who said she was 24-years-old, and even told his kids about how he planned to get her to America and make her his wife. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans were furious at Ben’s creepy ways and how he relentlessly pursued Mahogany even though she’d never done any video calls with him. Mahogany ultimately ghosted him as soon as he flew to Peru to meet her. Yet, Ben was the one who was “freaked out” when he found out Mahogany is his daughter’s age.
Somehow, Ben was okay with dating a 24-year-old woman, but after finding out Mahogany is 22-years-old, the age of his eldest child, is somehow a deal-breaker. Their storyline hinted at signs of Mahogany being a catfish, which was proven when she showed up for their date. Even though Mahogany looked nothing like her Instagram photos, Ben thought she was beautiful and might have simply “doctored” her pictures a little. But Mahogany had made it obvious that she was nervous about meeting Ben because her parents thought he had “other intentions” with her.
