Colt Johnson and his mother, Debbie Johnson, have been regularly at odds throughout their time on90 Day Fiancé, but their recent time on the show has been more tumultuous than ever and fans are concerned they may not repair their relationship. Originally, Debbie was on the show as a co-star to support Colt and his endeavors with his various love interests. This year, everything changed as she entered 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life season 2 with a brand-new makeover and ready to jump back into the dating pool after remaining single for over 13 following the passing of her husband.
In past seasons, Debbie has not exactly been the most supportive of Colt. Debbie strongly disliked his first Brazilian wife, Larissa Lima, and was more supportive of their separation than of their marriage. After they separated, Colt returned with a new love interest: Jess Hanvey, which was yet another Brazilian woman that Debbie wasn't a fan of. Once again, the news of their breakup excited Debbie more than their actual relationship. Colt returned this time with his current wife, Vanessa Guerra. It appears Colt has found the love of his life, and Debbie is now looking for the same thing. With the roles having currently reversed, Colt is the one who dislikes his mother’s decisions and the constant blow-ups of season 2 have made viewers think that their relationship is unrepairable.
