However, not all of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars were equally well-received by viewers. From the start, 90 Day Fiancé franchise fans were not pleased with the cast announced for the spin-off show that sees franchise singles seeking another shot at love. Many viewers were vocally upset over Big Ed Brown being cast for a second season following his verbally abusive behavior on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, The Single Life season 1, and outside of the franchise. Meanwhile, viewers were also unhappy to see controversial personalities such as Jesse Meester, Stephanie Matto, Natalie Mordovtseva, and Debbie Johnson cast. Rounding out the season 2 cast was Jeniffer Tarazona, who viewers felt largely indifferent about, and Syngin Colchester appearing alongside his now ex-partner Tania Maduro.
