Former 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast member Varya Malina has landed herself in hot water with franchise fans yet again for a tasteless joke she made regarding the escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine prior to Russian president Vladimir Putin announcing a «special military operation” in Ukraine. Russian woman Varya has already earned the wrath of franchise fans for supporting convicted abuser Geoffrey Paschel. However, Varya has offended viewers once again with her shockingly insensitive remarks about a very serious situation that she made while tensions were escalating.
Varya and Geoffrey joined the franchise on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, though the duo wasn’t believed to still be together until Geoffrey was convicted for domestic assault among other serious charges. Varya surprised viewers by voicing her pubic support of Geoffrey, and she made it clear that she will be standing by him despite him receiving a nearly two-decade prison sentencing earlier this month. Varya has been joined by her Ukrainian friend and fellow franchise cast member Natalie Mordovtseva, who has also come under fire for voicing her continued support of Geoffrey despite his serious criminal charges. Many franchise fans have therefore dropped their support of both Varya and Natalie.
