The world in Pokemon Legends: Arceus has over 200 Pokemon spread across its seven distinct regions. As this game takes place in an ancient version of the Sinnoh region, players will recognize many of the Pokemon they encounter while they explore. One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player, however, found a bug that turned their normal Munchlax into a much more frightening version.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the fifth core game in the eighth generation of the Pokemon series. Players in the game are tasked with exploring the different regions and filling their Pokedex by catching as many Pokemon as possible as they go. Munchlax is a Normal type that was introduced as part of the fourth generation.

This post comes from Reddit user Erick_Ibart, and it shows off one of their Pokemon experiencing a bug. In the pair of images, the Pokemon in question is a Munchlax, but it is clearly experiencing a major issue with one of its eyes. This Munchlax is completely missing the right eye and instead has a similarly shaped black hole in the same spot. This makes the Pokemon look as though it has no interior and is just an empty creature. The first image is a closeup of this new version of Munchlax in the game while the second image is a bit more zoomed out, showing the player leaning down towards their glitched Pokemon. There isn’t a clear indication as to what created this situation or when the player noticed this, but what is clear is that something has clearly gone wrong in the game.
