Ella Johnson revealed why she claims she didn’t cheat on Johnny Chao and that she’ll return via a new spin-off after 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Ella, a 29-year-old from Idaho, met Johnny, a 34-year-old divorced man from China, on a dating site for white women and Asian men. Owing to Ella’s keen interest in “Asian culture,” she found her Asian prince in Johnny, but the pandemic ruined her 90 Day Fiancé fairytale. Ella and Johnny weren't able to meet, despite making several plans. When Johnny refused to come to Dubai, citing his COVID-19 fears, she cheated on him with a mystery man.
Johnny was going to quit his job to fly to meet Ella, leaving behind his elderly parents and a little son, Stoney. He was concerned about the time he’d have to spend in quarantine and, worse, possibly catching the virus and putting his vulnerable family at risk. But Ella didn’t seem to care. All that mattered to her was her “love language” of physical touch. She told Johnny she’d meet other men in the United States if he kept delaying his trip. She asked him if he was okay with an open relationship, but Johnny couldn't bear losing Ella to anyone else as he was crazy in love with her. However, Ella ended up calling a friend over to discuss her problems but instead cuddled him and slept with him.
