90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 viewers never saw Johnny visit Ella Johnson in the United States, and it appears that the big meeting has yet to occur. Ella infamously blamed her cheating on the physical distances between her and Johnny due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it appears Johnny has yet to meet Ella in person despite his promises at the Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell-All.
Ella was furious and heartbroken when Johnny told her that he couldn’t leave China at the time to join her on her Idaho ranch as they had previously planned. Johnny told Ella that he couldn’t risk contracting COVID-19 in a foreign country since he is responsible for his young son and elderly parents. Ella lacked any understanding or sympathy and demanded Johnny risk his health for her. When Johnny didn’t fly out of China, Ella cheated on him with a friend. Johnny controversially accepted responsibility for her cheating and swore at the Tell-All, which was filmed in January, that he would visit Ella in February no matter what. However, it appears that Johnny didn't follow through on his promise.

Now that two months have passed since Johnny promised to visit Ella, it has become clear that Johnny has yet to fly to the US. Johnny has clarified his reasoning on his Instagram, @johnny_90days, where he explained the many reasons why he wasn’t able to meet Ella. One post shared by Johnny on March 14 detailed some of the reasons why he has yet to see his girlfriend. «I struggled in fly out, because china is still lockdown and travel ban means can fly out but barely with flights can come back to china,» the Before The 90 Days star explained.
