Whether it is omissions from its direct predecessor,, or questions that emerge during a playthrough that remain unanswered, the game is filled with curious ambiguity and an infuriating lack of answers to many pressing questions.
These madding questions, many of which have evoked speculation from the community, could have so easily been addressed in DLC; however, it has been announced that there will be no DLC. A decision by Nintendo that has left many questions either permanently without answer, or at least until a potential future sequel. is a franchise with a complex and expansive lore, and consequently, it is not unfamiliar with unresolved mysteries.
