Unlocking the paraglider in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an important step in Link's grand adventure, but like a lot of his journey, it can happen at very different moments depending on the player. In order to complete this mission, Purah will give you the paraglider which will permanently be added to Link's inventory. You'll then add the fast travel spot to your map, then quickly be thrust into the sky to capture the region's topography, revealing it on your map.
Upon your descent, you'll need to glide to safety, but don't do it right away or else you'll run out of stamina long before you're safely near
