September and much of the fall are looking like it’s going to be a busy time for gamers. Adding more to the pile, Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC is finally coming out. Gone are the days of its horrible launch, and lackluster reviews. The game is in a much better state than it was in 2020. So it could be worth your time to jump back in. This is because the new DLC named, Phantom Liberty is dropping later on in the year. During Xbox’s Game Showcase, CD Projekt Red gave more info about Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC, including the release date and price. Cyberpunk 2077’s showcase would be nothing without Johnny Silverhand himself. Keanu Reeves, who plays the role opened up the game, and there were a ton of surprises. Some of which many have probably overlooked. First, you’ll travel to a new location in Night City called Dog Town. Second, your job is to rescue the President of the United States. According to Reeves, Phantom Liberty takes a spy thriller approach and will have more things to do on top of the story. So you may get lost in this new world. Additionally, you’ll meet another character done by Hannible himself: Idris Elba.
This may lead to theories of other actors being featured in later DLCs for the game.
After many leaks, CD Projekt Red has finally announced when Phantom Liberty will drop, and how much it will be.
