Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service next month, February 2022. The critically-acclaimed sixth main installment in the series, Majora’s Mask is considered by many as the best Legend of Zelda game. It was originally released back in 2000 on the N64 and was soon re-released three years later on the GameCube as part of the The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition. A remake was also released on the Nintendo 3DS back in 2015.
There have been 19 main entries in The Legends of Zelda series since the first was released in Japan way back in 1986. Several of the games have also been re-released, remade, or remastered, such as the aforementioned Majora’s Mask remake, as well as an Ocarina of Time 3D remake. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake and the remastered Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, were released on the Nintendo Switch in just the last few years. Several of the other entries in the series have also been made available on the Switch via the Nintendo Switch Online library, including the first three Zelda games as well as Ocarina of Time.

Following its reveal last year, Nintendo has now announced that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service sometime in February. It is the latest game in the series to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online library, albeit as part of the more expensive Expansion Pack tier. While subscribers will have to wait until next month to get Majora’s Mask, they can already download and play Banjo-Kazooie, which was released on the service earlier this week.
