Warning! Spoilers ahead for Young Sheldon season 5.
Since the very beginning of CBS's Young Sheldon fans have known that George's cheating scandal would play an important part in the series, and season 5 has finally revealed how far off the incident is. Instead, the socially-challenged genius adopted the habit after walking in on George having sexual relations with another woman when he was 13 years old. Sheldon and his dad never talked about the incident and soon after George tragically passed away. Since this revelation, there has been anticipation as to how Young Sheldon will tackle this rather dark narrative, especially since the family series has a significantly different version of George.
