The actor who plays young Luke Skywalker in Disney+'s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been confirmed. Director Deborah Chow's Star Wars series is set ten years after George Lucas' prequel trilogy or between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It follows its titular Jedi Master (played by Ewan McGregor) during his time as «Ben Kenobi» on Tatooine as he watches over the son of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen).
In addition to McGregor's Obi-Wan and Christensen's Anakin/Vader, the limited series will see the return of several legacy characters, including Joel Edgerton's Owen Lars, Bonnie Piesse's Beru, and Luke Skywalker himself. Obi-Wan Kenobi's first teaser trailer dropped during the Disney Investor Call on March 9th, giving fans a look at McGregor and Edgerton's return set to the musical styling of John Williams. The trailer also offers a brief glimpse of Luke, who is seen wearing an outfit and googles similar to Anakin's in The Phantom Menace's podracing sequence. Now, the actor playing young Luke has been confirmed.
