Subscribers to the Core membership are getting a couple more games in December.
By Eddie Makuch on
For the first time since Xbox Game Pass Core launched in September, Microsoft is adding more games to its catalog. For anyone just catching up, Game Pass Core is the new name for Xbox Live Gold, which was phased out earlier this year. Game Pass Core, which costs $10/month, has a collection of 35+ games, but not the entire Game Pass catalog.
Microsoft has said it will update the Core catalog about two or three times per year, and now it's happening. The first additions to the library are the multiplayer first-person slasher Chivalry 2 and the comical delivery game Totally Reliable Deliver Service, both of which launch on December 6.
