Having been originally released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and not having received a current generation update, Red Dead Redemption 2 does not support ray tracing, which is a shame, as it would make the game look even more incredible than it already does.
A new 8K video put together by Digital Dreams shows the latest entry in the series by Rockstar Games running with the Complete Ray Tracing Reshade preset by Nice Guy, a screen space ray tracing shader that lets users add global illumination with effects like Diffuse Illumination and Specular Reflection, ambient occlusion and glossy reflections to any game which is far superior to similar shader available online, as well as with over one hundred other mods.
